introduction

i have clicked Introduce Yourself 12 times and ...nothing. I can't make a move without 'Introduce Yourself' being hurled at me. what do I do now? How do I make the first post?

did you click on new member/introduce yourself on the forum? After that click on NEW TOPIC, It's a little purple oval thing top left just above the threads. If you click on that I think it should pop up a window where you type in an introduction and post.

If you visit the <link> New Member Help Center/Introduce Yourself forum, you can start a new thread in exactly the same manner as you did with this one, by clicking on the "New Topic" button as ((cathb911)) says above. All our forums are set up in the same way.

There is also an "X" in the corner of the "introduce yourself" box. You can close it.

I don't know where to introduce myself. I don't want to run off of someone elses thread. I don't understand how to do a lot of this. I am new. I viewed the pre-op video, and read some faq. Where do I ask more questions.

Right above the list of threads in each section you'll see a purple button ( top left) that says NEW TOPIC. Click on that and ask your question. Once you post it you'll see it show up on the list of threads in that section.
