Smile - TVH 17 years on TVH 17 years on

Hi, I had my TVH 17 years ago. It started like this. I had given birth just over a year previously and my daughter had a very big head. As a result of the massive straining to birth her, i ended up with a prolapsed uterus, bowel and bladder and after many weeks, turning to months of examinations, questions, seemingly pointless hospital appointments, I was advised by my gyn that I needed a hysterectomy along with rectocele and cystocele repairs. I had the surgery, took a long time to come round from the anaesthetic. I developed an infection several hours in. I had pain and had a very bad reaction to morphine, so I was given Voltarol suppositories which were fantastic! Time passed and I had the odd problem - nothing serious - but now I think I have a perineal prolapse. I've developed the bulging perineum when trying to have a BM, this bulges out of the very bottom of my vagina, posterior. I have also developed a vaginal discharge which has been tested for infection and std's - negative on all - sometimes this discharge is bloody. I'm seeing my doctor, and it's taking a long time to find out anything. I have low abdominal pain - a dragging sensation also some vaginal pain. It's a journey without end, so I look forward to enjoying the trip whenever I can.
