31, new here, pending hysterectomy with bladder sling

I am new here with a lot of concerns. I am only 31, I have suffered from very heavy periods since I was 11 that drag on for 10 days at a time. A few years ago, my bladder went crazy. I also started having severe discomfort during relations with my hubby. My Dr. whom I've been seeing for 15 years, says I have suffered a prolapse. My bladder being at close to a stage 3. I have also suffered from repetitive yeast infections, uti's and bladder infections. I have tried to ignore this over the last couple of years, praying it would heal itself. This week I went in for my annual and my Dr says, my only real option is to have a hysterectomy with a bladder sling. She says I am a candidate for the Da Vinci Surgery, but if I put this off much longer I may wind up needing a full abdominal procedure.
I am so incredibly greatful to have found this site. So many people that just need support and understanding from others that know what they are going through.
