TAH Any other Bikers

Hi, I'm at 8 weeks post op now. The weather is nice and I want to get out an about. I wanted to know how long did you wait to get back on your motorcycle. I'm feeling ok. Still have pulls and pains but what to hop on and take a ride but of course not too soon!

I was on the Harley at 6 weeks! Everything was just fine for me. Hubby did try to watch for bumps. We only rode for about 2 hours. I didnt want to push my luck!!

I am 3 weeks post op and I soooo cannot wait to go riding with my hubby on our bike...

I am 9 weeks now, and as much as I would love to go out for a ride, I am going to wait I have had a couple of set back during recovery, so my husband have decided to wait until the 1st of June. We want to take the bike on our vacation in Sept, so we want to make sure everything is good and I am strong before going out. We will do a couple of "around town rides" first then move into the couple of hour trips. Just built back up to before surgery trips. We like doing the long weekend trips.
Just listen to your body and easy back into it, you will get there.
