my tlh story
I had my tlh on feb 15, 2012. I had been asking for a hysterectomy for a number kf years, but it was not until all other maintenence avenues wer tried did the doctors consent. I was n recovery room when I noticed I felt no pain ad was glad I finally had my tlh. I was bloated for a few days and hurt from the bloating. I took colase for about a week until I felt better , I did feelwonderful though! I felt great for about a week. My stitches inside and out began to itch. My outside stitches were removed. My inside stitches were left. I began having kidney and urinary infections. Was placed on antibiotics. This lasted 8 weeks. I was diagnosed w vaginal infection and treated for that. The inside stitches healed amd then I was told I.was allergic to the stitches. I was put on probiotics which are otc to build up my immune system. I have been back to work since late march and dealing with all this, school for my bachelors degree, two kids as single mother, and my full.time.job. It was stressful but so glad I did it! I am bipolar so my meds.for that got out of whack during this.time. I am now stable. I am not planning on taking hormones until I need to. My doctor left one ovary to aide n natural menopause. I even felt well
enough to take my daughter to florida for a weekend to see her .grandparents amd.her.first
