Re: Circle of Support - Have you helped a sister today?

I'll try to visit the alternatives threads real soon to answer what I can. I have been private messaging a newly crowned sister as of today actually, for many weeks giving her all the advice and answer all her questions that I could-and it feels so awesome to be able to share what I was once wondering myself!

So how much does a higher membership cost and what does it really mean?

Re: Circle of Support - Have you helped a sister today?

I have been trying to get on here at least 1-2 times a week and help my sisters out. I figure since I am disabled and can't ever work again, that it is my obligation to get the word out about endometriosis. I also want to help out as many sisters as I can with my experiences with surgeries and also to just be there for anyone who needs someone to just listen. I hope I can bring a smile to someone who needs one! I am here to help!!

Re: Circle of Support - Have you helped a sister today?

I had my TAH July 29th 2011 and I will help any of my sisters who need my help. There were some dark times for me after my diagnosis of endo/ca but I have come through it. You will be ok, all of you. Let's keep supporting each other
Hugs

I try my best..but i'm just not knowledgable as a lot of the women. I do try though but when it comes to personal experiences...I can help as much as I can there. This is suc h a wonderful website and I am happy to be apart of it. Well...you know what I mean

Re: Circle of Support - Have you helped a sister today?

I think this is a wonderful site to be able to share experiences pre-op and post-op to help other sisters, and also get support for our ownselves. I am still recovering from my TAH done on 4/26/2012. Glad I found this site.

Re: Circle of Support - Have you helped a sister today?

This site has definitely been a godsend I recently left a cervical cancer support site that i thought was fantastic until i responded to a post only to have someone say "oh why not read the stories of our real ladies". Adenocarcenoma was real enough to me!

I have found msyelf looking for the like button though.....perhaps just a tad too much recovery time on faceboook lol.

I hope to be able to let other members know that, even if i can't help them i can support them and let them know they are not alone
