Weird Issue

Here a wierd issue im hoping was more due to having a beer abd it got warm last night I also take klonipin celexa to sleep. But wokeup last night with pounding heart and hot flash. I havent hAd this in awhile. Even after having a beer so I dont know ic anythi.g except lower est.

Hello sisters, well for the past few months ive been doing ok im on vivelle patch .1 and.added.1 pump gel in morn and half.at.noon I ended up.on klonipin.and.celexa.due.to heart pounding insomina anxeity.attacks I was doing fine was.sleeping, then for.the past week the heart has.been pounding.again.and harder to sleep, and last night I got.a .hot flash its getting.warmer but just cant.bear.that.hell I went.through, im.begining to think this patch has been nothing.but.trouble.for me ive.been on it.for a year had my.level test.120 was my.e and thyroid is good, I just cant.figure it out anymore I would think after a year I would be ok so I added a lil more gel today to see if its just est or is due to it getting warm again I hate these issues I stepped down from my.supervisor.job due to the.stress im hoping someone out there.has been going.through.this this long.and what did you do

When I drink alcohol of any kind since my surgery I will get hotflashes. I don't have the heart pounding with it but the hotflashes are wuitr bad. So I have decided the occasional wine is not worth it.

Thanx. I was able to drink a beer every friday wasnt having any issues. Just this past week so I put on a lil more e and so far so good. With the heart. Im thinking of moving to greenland just to lay in the snow. Lol

Vonnie, so glad you posted this. I had hot flashes too when I drank alcohol. It was strange. I told my boyfriend that I guess I won't be drinking because I hate hot flashes more than I like alcohol! Lol!

I get this when my adrenal levels are low. Something to consider... since you have stress, etc... can mess with all.

How do yoU test your adrenals?

Ask your doct to test. They with draw blood after giving you a hormone than they test blood every 30 60 90 min

That is just the ACTH stim test. It only tells you if your adrenals are responding to ACTH from pituitary... search online for low adrenal symptoms to start.. then you need to talk to your dr

Alcohol relaxes the arteries opening them up for increased blood flow hence the warming sensation. Thats why they say alcohol in moderation especially wine good for heart cause it increases blood flow.
