Exhausted

Good afternoon. Today, I decided to sit outside and catch a few rays of Sun. I sat out for about 40 minutes. Walked about 25 feet down my sidewalk, came back in the house and took a shower. I truly feel like I just ran a marathon. My body is so tired. I'm on day 10 of post op. I just wanted to share my exhausted journey with everyone....now I'm going to take a nap.

Re: Exhausted

Everyone told me how exhausted I would be but I didn't quite believe it. I took a trip to Walmart within a week post op and that tuckered me out for days.

Re: Exhausted

I remember how exhausting the first month or so can be!! The smallest task can totally wipe you out.

Sounds like you are taking it easy and napping is the best part of this recovery!!! Continue to rest and recover and of course

Re: Exhausted

The first few weeks are very exhausting but it does get better. Listen to your body and rest as much as possible. I"m 2 months+ post op and feel great. However it took 4 weeks before I got ALL my engery back.

Hang in there

Re: Exhausted

I had to go pick up my meds a week after surgery and thought I would be okay and i made it from the car to pharmacy before I had all my energy drained and could hardly move from lack of energy. its a thing that goes away about 2 weeks out hopefully! sitting in the sun though in a chair would be wonderful! just not so far from the house for now!
