3 weeks post op and vaginal pain/pressure?

Hi everyone:

I am just over three weeks post op and I have this wierd vaginal cramping. It feels like I have to "push" almost. Like I have pressure in there. I am still sore at my incision site and I only have a few hours a day of energy and then I am whooped....Does anyone have any experience with this? I did have a three week check up on Friday and the doc said all was going well. I am just scared I guess. I don't want anything to be wrong...I am so happy I found this site. You are all so kind....Thank you again.

I would suggest that you give your doctor a call. I haven't ever heard of the "push" feeling. It could be swelling still but I am sure you will feel better after you check with the doctor.

It's more of a pressure feeling like I have to pee or poop...I will call his office and speak with someone. I just feel silly. Thank you.

I have this feeling. Sometimes its like I have a tampon in at the end of my period? Sorry if gross. Doctor said its just that I am sensitive to the light swelling I have going on. Its worse on days I do more. It is getting less and less for me. Good luck!

Thank you. I also found another older thread that spoke of this as well. The nurse at the office said
it was from swelling up there also. Plus you are right in that I do feel it more when I do too much. I love it here. So happy to have found this site.

That's how my vaginal swelling feels. It still happens off and on depending on how much I'm up and how much I do. Advil seems to take care of it for me.
