OvCa: 20 cm solid mass on right ovary - I'm only 18!

Am sending healing thoughts and prayers to you and to your mother... while your signs and symptoms are completely different than my own situation, I did have a young friend with HUGE fibroids (almost the size of a soccer ball) that turned out to be completly benign. You are doing all the right things, and though it is difficult to stay calm, I found that posting here helped me a lot... you are not alone

Thank you everyone. I have my appointment to discuss my blood test results tomorrow... Please pray for me. I need God with me right now. I am hopeful for good news. I will let you all know how it goes.

When I was 17 years old, I had a huge cyst on my ovary. They said it had to come out. I had surgery and had my whole ovary and the cyst removed. it was called a Dermoid cyst. It was the size of a grapefruit. I was fine after that and was able to have 2 kids. Which was all I wanted. I could've had more. I am praying that you will be calm and you and your mother will be okay. It never entered my mind that mine could have been cancer when I was 17, but I know when you hear the word "mass" you would think cancer because of your mom, but that does not mean it will be. Hey guys. So my ca 125 was elevated and they believe what it is is a germ cell tumor! I have enlarged lymphnodes but he said I should stop googling everything on ovarian cancer because that's not what I have. He said worst comes to worst the cancer is very curable and I should be able to have children and live a lonnnnngg life.

And my Surgery is scheduled for this Friday! And I also may have to have chemo but the tumor responds very well to it.

Hope your surgery goes well on Friday and the tumor turns out to be benign and that's the end of it! Will pray for peace for you and speedy recovery, too!
