Breast pain

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any information on what I am going through. For the last month I have had pain in right breast and arm pit. I have felt a burning feeling as well. I just recently stop taking estadiol pill. I have been on the estradiol for three years. The reason I stopped is because my ankles were hurting. It feels to me the my right arm pit feels swollen. Should I worry or is it just the fact I am not taking the hormone any more. Thanks.

Re: Breast pain

Keys, it's worth a chat with your dr. but from my own experience, fibrocystic breasts are painful. Not necessarily cancerous, but lumpy and painful. Do you have lumps, too? Any breast changes are good to get checked but chances are it's nothing worrisome. Good luck!!

Re: Breast pain

You should always have any breast changes checked out. I experienced the same issue in my left breast when I went from wearing one Vivelle Patch to 2. Hormones seem to do weird things to our bodies. It went away for awhile, now I get E and T injections and the breast pain is back. I had a breast MRI done and everything was benign, just a lymph node growing into the breast. Most likely though it is hormone related. Good luck!
