Hi Teeth: I am praying for you as you start chemo tomorrow. I had my first one on May 7, I will have my next one on 5/29. It was a full 8 hours. The following day I had to go in to get a white cell booster shot. I never had any nausea at all. Like you I will also have radiation. I am taking this one day at a time and I feel so blessed to have these treatment options. Get plenty of rest and eat well. God Bless!

I have to admit that I have just been fearful...not grateful for the resources and Dr skills and care. Thank you for your insight and encouragement. Blessings on the rest of your treatments.

Hi everyone. I made it through my first treatment on Friday, and it went pretty well. Long day and was pretty wiped out yesterday and today, but the nausea medicine really works. I will try to cut back tomorrow and maybe get in a walk. thanks for all the support and love. The best and blessings to you all.

arejay...how long were you wiped out? I feel okay, accept for some achy joints, but am sooo tired.

Glad you made it through the first treatment and hope you're feeling better today.

I felt really tired for the first week or so after each treatment then less and less the second and third week. I'd feel pretty much normal by the third week but then it would be time for another treatment.

I hope you start feeling better in the next few days. I think the whole chemo thing is kind of hard on our bodies. You really do need a lot more rest than normal. Wishing you the best for speedy healing!
