Hello ladies!

HI! I'm Michele and I'm new here. I had my SAH on May 9th and I seem to be healing pretty well. My doctor removed my tubes but kept my ovaries. I was nervous as heck but surprisingly my hospital experience was excellent (minus the food). A litte less than a week later my doctor removed my staples which was a cinch. I've had 2 c-sections and so far this is much easier. Except I don't remember people telling me to baby myself so much after I had my children - they didn't seem to concerned that the new mom was trying to be a supermom and do it all on barely any sleep. I hope to meet some new sisters and bond over our shared experiences!

Re: Hello ladies!

Michele!

I'm glad you found us and joined, and hope that you will enjoy being able to share with women who are on the same journey.

There's plenty of information in the Post-Op Page for you to use, plus you're welcome to connect with members in all stages of recovery over on the Post-Op Hysterectomy Support message board. Start new threads there if you have questions or support needs.

Best wishes as you continue to heal!
