Question - Can Someone Help Me Figure This Out? Can Someone Help Me Figure This Out?

Good Afternoon Ladies,

My name is Keli and I have experienced something that I have never approached. I have tried to Google it, but I have come against a wall of nowhere. I haven't had a PAP in years, but went to hospitals to have blood drawn about a year and a half ago and I had a pregnancy almost 3 years ago. I apologize for the detailed graphics, but I need to know what is going on. However, about a week ago, I found a knot that hurt when I pushed it and made it difficult to walk at times. Where the opening of the vagina is and almost towards the anus, I found a lump that wasn't hard, but wasn't soft under the skin. I tried to browse the inside of my vagina to see if I could feel it on the right side. Unfortunately, I couldn't feel it. When I press on my vagina, I could feel it on the lower right side under the skin. I thought it was a huge bump, but it wasn't. It is hard to explain where it is located, but I thought I would give it a try to see if anyone here could help me. It has gone down over the past couple days, but I can still feel it. Lately, I thought it was something that I strained from bowel, but, I am still unsure.

Re: Can Someone Help Me Figure This Out?

I thank you ladies for inviting me to a place where I am not ashamed or embarrassed to explain what is or may be going on. Sister, I pray that we ALL have a blessed day!

Re: Can Someone Help Me Figure This Out?

Hi Keli,
It could be a cyst or a swollen gland. I really think you should make an appointment with your gynaecologist to have it checked out - better safe than sorry!
Best,
Christina
