The nightmares were crazy...I had them for about two weeks.

Not really having nightmares, but really weird dreams....stupid ones that don't make any sense. I don't remember dreams that often but these ones I remember, lol. I'm pretty sure it is the after effects of the anesthesia, the drugs we're taking in recovery, and for some of us our stress while waiting and the trauma to the body. All of these things can play into it.

They sent me home with Oxycodone & Ibuprofen 600 mg

Had nightmares until I quit taking pain meds and switched to Ibruprofen. My dreams were so vivid I would wake up very emotional. Hope it gets better soon!!

ooh yes it is definitly the pain medicine. I stop taking my precocet 2 days after getting home nightmares were so bad and since I stopped I havent had any

I haven't been taking the narcotic and the nightmares have pretty much gone away.

I am glad you posted this. I rarely have bad dreams but have had a couple of comedic nightmares. I hope yours are better!
