Hello - new to the forum - bleeding and pain question

Hello Everyone,


I am 44 years old and had a total hysterectomy and tube removal via davinci surgery on March 29, 2012. I have to say this process has been MUCH more difficult than I anticipated. My original gyn sent me to a specialist, who ended up sending me to an oncologist, as there was a 40% chance of cancer. I, thankfully, did not have any cancer, but I was told by each gyn the recovery would be quick and fairly simple due to the davinci procedure.

I am now 9 weeks post surgery and still having pain and bleeding. I have called the dr more than once and they keep telling me to keep an eye on it. I am very frustrated and don't know what to do. Has anyone else had this issue at this point? I am ready to call my regular gyn and see if he can shed some light on this. But, I also dont' want to overreact.

I am excited to be a part of this forum. THis has been a long process and I wish I had found this site earlier. I have not had much emotional support from others in my situation and especially close to my age.
