Re: Best Wishes to our June 05 Princesses

Nervous today, which is strange in a way cause I am not normally a nervous person. Thought I was coming down with something cause I feel sick in the stomach and have a bit of a headach. But I am sure it's just nerves. I have almost everything at home organised. Just sorting my work commitments out today. DH and I run our own business, so I am worried as to how well he will cope. Actually I am sure he will cope, I am just worried maybe about how well I will cope away from it. We live about 40-50mins out of town, where we work, so not sure how long before I will be able to drive. I know I can do most from home if I have to, it's just easier being at the office. I am hoping for a speedy recovery. My freinds that have had c sections seem to get over them okay.
I am not sure about the bowel prep sisters seem to chat about. I was just told to make sure I emptied my bowel if I could. Should I do anything there. I regularly go every morning, but for sure tomorrow I won't be able too. Some advice please.

Re: Best Wishes to our June 05 Princesses

I go for pre-op today and then to the hospital first thing tomorrow morning. I was fine until last night and I think it really hit me. I slept but had vivid, strange dreams all night. I'm a bundle of nerves today. I know for my dr. it's just a routine surgery, but I've never had surgery other than my ablation. At this point, I just want to get it over.

kaz16, I wasn't told anything about bowel prep either, so I'm just planning to eat light today.

Karen,

Please don't worry about what others are doing and just do as your doctor advises. There have been women on the site who had their surgery postponed due to doing a bowl prep that wasn't ordered.

Hoping for all the best tomorrow! Keep us posted.
