11 days post-op My story

My story, I am 40 I was diagnosed almost 20 years ago with stage 4 endo. Later on I was diagnosed with PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome), insulin resistant and recently I was told I had fibroids also. I have heavy period and extreme cramping. I would describe the cramping as 7 days of the worst diahrehha cramping anyone could experience. I would usually take 800 mg of ibuproffen ever 8 hours and then tylenol every 4 hours as well. 5 Years ago my gyn wanted me to have the ablation procedure, I opted at the time for a d&c. Well current day, I was ready for the ablation. I had blood work and ultrasound which showed the fibroids, large ovarian cysts and an enlarged uterus. My dr recomended that I have the da vinci method with a complete hysterectomy. I had surgery on May 24. I am 11 days post op. The dr said that I had the worst case of endometriosis he had seen in his 30 years of performing hysterectomies. My endo was fused to everything and tied all around my colon. No wonder my cramps were so horrible. One ovary was the size of an orange and my uterus was 4 times its normal size. My surgery was expected to take about 3 hours, it ended up taking 5 hours and 15 minutes due to all the adhesions. I stayed overnight in the hospital and went home the next day. I spotted for the first few hours after surgery, and then nothing until yesterday morning. I have had lots of hot flashes and some mental breakdowns with crying periods but other than that I have been doing pretty good. I am still having some cramping issues. I am not doing anything but some walking every few days or so.
