Re: Are You Taking Vitamins/ Supplements??

I take:
2500 mg Vit. C in divided doses
a MVP daily multi pack of 4 daily pills
200 MG Co Enzyme Q 10 (the more bioavailable ubiquinol form)
an extra B complex (B-Replete)
2500 MG fish oil (small fish from cold water- no mercury and from calamarine)
a daily softgel eye formula that includes a small amount of astaxathin
800 mg broadspectrum magnesium
500 mg calcium citrate
1600 mg of a mixture of propionyl-l-carnitine and acetyl-l-carnitine (propionyl is for the heart adn acetyl is for the brain)
N-acetyl cycteine (NAC)
pomegranite capsules with dark cocoa gold
ground flax seed sprinkled on food
5000 IU Vit. D3 (just had my levels checked and they are low normal--the D3, and Calcium in my multi MVP and the extra 500 MG Calcium I take are balanced with my magnesium), 500 MG carnosine, 50 MG Tocotrienols (Delta Gold with delta and some gamma isolated from Vit. E--great for decreasing arterial plaque in arteries and carotid arteries-- and works better than straight Vitamin E to:

Lower "Bad" LDL

Raise "Good" HDL

Lower Triglycerides

Lower C-Reactive Protein

And Actually Raise CoQ10 levels

I also take iFlora Multi-Strain Probiotic of 16 different strains; a great probiotic that includes prebiotics (food to feed the probiotic) 2 daily capsulte give me 32 Billion cells and it is just WONDERFUL

1 Iodoral Iodine tab daily (each tablet contains 5 MG Iodine and 7.5 potassium iodide, is all natural and helps prevent many cancers, supports the thyroid gland breast and brain tissue, as well as other organs require iodine as well and the salt is not enough. Unprocessed Celtic Seasalt, which contains 80 minerals, is much better than the processed iodized salt that doesn't contain nearly enough iodine needed by our bodies--barely prevents goiter at best and has WAY too much sodium. Those on low salt diets get none! This seasalt has low sodium and actually HELPS lower blood pressure-- {you need selenium and Celtic seasalt along with the iodine pill}--see link removed per TOS and see excerpts from his book/s, "Why You Need Iodine / Why You Can't Live Without It"--Dr. Brownstein is a Board Certified Family Physician, is the medical director for the Center for Holistic medicine in West Bloomfield, MI and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine)

Re: Are You Taking Vitamins/ Supplements??

I have celiac disease and due to my heaving bleeding I've been severely anemic. Because of celiac I don't absorb nutrients like I should so I take multi vitamins 3 ferro gels (iron), vitamin d, and vitamin b12. I also juice to try and get more nutrients. The doctor hopes that now that I've had a TVH I won't be anemic anymore...we'll see.

I use a high quality vitamin from melaleuca. It's the only vitamin I've found that my body actually absorbs and doesn't void whole.

Same here! I went off gluten and discovered numerous other food allergies and I'm no longer tired. I was sleeping 16 hours a day and still exhausted when I was on gluten! After 2 weeks of being gf it was like a fog had lifted off my mind and for the first time I was seeing clearly.

I have to take an obscene amount of iron daily also. Antacids and dairy products also prevent your body from absorbing the iron.
