Re: Has anyone's doctor unexpectedly found fibroids or endo during surgery?

Yup! I was full of surprises for my Dr. last week. My vaginal hyst. turned into abdominal when she discovered that my ovaries, uterus, bowel, were all basically fused together from endometriosis. Fibroids everywhere. My 1 hour routine surgery turned into 3 hours w/ 4 surgeons. Just had a 1 week post op check and everything is perfect. So I really feel like mine turned out exactly how it needed to. They really don't know what they're going to find until they're in there so as long as feel that your Dr. can handle whatever they find, rest assured that yours will turn out perfectly too!

Monster fibroids were known about before surgery. Endo everywhere was a surprise.
