Introducing Myself :D

I am a 25 (26 on Wednesday) year old female who is having a hysterectomy on 7/2 and I dont want it. I have been on and off chemo for a year and a half and my cancer continues to spread, I have been told that a hysterectomy immediately is the only way to stop being sick on chemo and "cure" my condition. I dont want it - I am currently on antidepressants because I have fallen into a deep depression since the hysterectomy became my "only" option. Just lookin for some support - since I dont have any. Would love to make some "friends" - thanks for reading and have a great day.

I'm sorry that you're facing a hysterectomy but hope spending time here, in the company of women who can relate, will help you have an easier journey.

Pre- and post-op Sisters can offer support and help with any questions you have when you post new threads on the Pre-Op message board, though you may prefer to use the Cancer Concerns message board if you have questions about your diagnosis.

Thank you - it has been less than desireable these past few days since I found out. I just dont want to be tired or sick any more, but at the same time, I feel like I am not a woman anymore without it....like I am losing my value. I was brought up that you need a functioning uterus to be a WOMAN and perform your womanly duties.....so what am I now? I wont have anything left to offer.....
