Hello ladies
just got back from my drs. It was 3all weeks yesterday. She said my incision looks great. I explained my pee problem and it turn out i have a bladder infection, so antibiotics it is for a week. I am able to drive now, short distances, but that is all that has changed. No lifting anything heavier than gallon of milk, basically follow what my bbody is telling me.

I m so grateful to have my husband he has been a saint, never once complaining about doing anything. It is hard on my kids though and i do feel bad because it is summer and we r usually doing the beach or outside playing. My hubby is not a beach person but is outside playing all the time w them. I am waiting for some energy to be able to go outside and at least sit with them and watch them play, i just cant seem to shake the fatigue.

Hope all the ladies have a good day.

OH MY GOSH!!! I hope things are okay inside of you!! I live in fear of falling like that, but my husband is so protective I don't think I will need to worry. My glue in my belly button hasn't come off either. I am leaving it be, as I am very tender there. All in all, things are getting better, but holy moly, I am SOOOO tired! I don't nap during the day so by the time I hit bedtime, I am out! They really weren't kidding about the 6 week recovery. I had a bilateral mastectomy and they said 6 weeks and it was MUCH faster than this!

I also feel the summer guilt. My husband is out of paid time off and Im a SAHM so despite exhaustion I am entertaining them as best as I can. My hubby works 14 hr days so I definitely do more than I should, thankfully he has the next two days off. Rest up!

I am also a SAHM but my hubby took the FMLA so i have him home til Aug. 25, thank God. I kno how u feel w the hubby working long hours mine is gone from 4am til 730 pm when he is working so i sometimes feel like a single mom rather than the SAHM. Guilt will get ya when it comes to the kiddies.

3 weeks today I am also having a hard time with fatigue . It sure feels like its taking a long time to heal. I go for my 4 week check up next week my incision looks good and the tape came all off over the weekend so it was nice to wash my tummy still have a lot of numbness witch feels so strange. Thankful for my husband he has been on over time with work and taking care of me. The first week we got meals from our church family and what a blessing that was. Off to take a little power nap I feel like I need to nap all the time. Thinking of you all and praying you all take your time with your healing.

I wish I could run away and recover on some real me time lol. I dont really want to run away I would miss my kids, but I am seriously not being able to recover simply because of life. Guess I am having a pity party. Thanks for letting me vent.

Evening ladies:O) Welcome to all the new "faces"!! Seems like the majority of you are doing well, experiencing the normal ups and downs. I'm sorry some are still not feeling better and am sending extra prayers your way. For those returning to work in the next week, Good Luck and take it as easy as you can!!

Some of you have mentioned being a little extra emotional and that is completely normal. Our bodies have been thru so muchand are trying to adjust and some are adjusting to hormones. I actually got to a point where I wanted a vacation from myself!!! Just keep in mind this too shall pass. Sending healing hugs to you all!

Nothing like straight from the garden vegetables!! I have to tell you I giggled when reading your post. Bet your wondering what was so funny?? I hadn't scrolled all the way down and the last bit of your post I could see was the brownies... and all I could think was she is going to tell us about "magic" brownies, lol. If only we could have magic healing brownies!!
