1 Year Post-Op, Can't Sleep, Mood Swings

Yesterday was my 1-year post-op anniversary - total daVinci hysterectomy at 37 due to endometrial hyperplasia with atypia. I am on .125 Premarin and have been having trouble sleeping (I can't sleep past 6 am no matter what time I go to bed) and terrible mood swings ever since surgery. I am so exhausted and nasty to people...it's horrible! My surgical gyn is 2 hours away, my local gyn seems uninterested -- she didn't even see the need to do an annual pap -- and my internist moved away! I am at my wits end and don't know where to start with trying to fix how I feel. Any suggestions?

I was speaking to my neighbour recently and your story sounds very similar to hers. She said that after being on Premarin for a while her symptoms reappeared and was unable to lie in bed longer than 6am because a burning sensation at the top of her back woke her up. She has been advised to change her HRT and I think she has been put on a bio-identical one. I think she is much better now.
Maybe some other ladies will come along who have personally experienced this and may be able to give you some ideas.
