Introduction

I just want to take a quick moment to introduce myself. I have been diagnosed with high grade dysplasia and the precancerous cells are as high as they can be before becoming cancerous. I've had a leep and two colposcopies and my ONC-GYN is recommending that I have a hysterectomy as there was not a clear margin of normal cells and he fears there my be skip lesions. At tomorrows visit we decide whether to do another leep or go for the surgery and deal with it before the cells become cancerous and avoid a radical hysterectomy.

I've been lurking since early July looking for more information and have found this site to be a great source of comfort and information. Especially about the daVinci procedure. I wouldn't have know about it if it wasn't for this site. My ONC-GYN is a daVinci surgeon and I'm hoping I'm a candidate. I live alone and a 6 week recovery period is going to be challenging for me.
