BSO Davanci Robotics 8 days post op.

I had my Uterus only taken out in 2004. On July 17,2012 I had a Davanci Robotic surgery to take out both tubes and both ovaries due to muliple cyst, the biggest on was grapefriut size. I had all kinds of scar tissue removed also and I went to my Dr yesterday (7 days post op) and he released me and said to do whatever I wanted. I am still tender some on my stomach and I was wondering when it was safe to have intercouse. My husband wants to wait a couple more weeks. I had no vaginal bleeding after surgery and came home that day. I just don't want to hurt myself. Please help!!
