Five weeks post Op

Its been five weeks today and my skin feels numb, is this normal? Has anyone ever felt this?

I noticed last week that the skin above my incision area on my lower stomach felt numb, but isnt numb now.

I didn't have any incisions with this surgery, but I did have the old fashioned big-scar gall bladder surgery years ago. I remember that below the incision, it was numb and remained so for quite some time (like months).

Before my SAH I had 2 c-sections. If I remember right it takes a bit to come back. I think with my second c-section it took a little over a year. It comes back but it will still feel weird even when it does come back. It takes a bit for the muscles and nerves to recover.

After my c sections, knee surgery, and now this surgery I have felt numbness around the incisions also. Like the others have mentioned, it takes awhile to come back. My knee surgery was Nov 2010 and I still have some tingly numbness when I touch it.
