TAH Random bruises?

Hi, I am 3 weeks into my TAH/BSO and I have noticed I have bruising appearing on my lower left leg. I have quite a big one on my calf that has been there a few days, and I've got up with another one on my foot this morning. I'm a bit worried about DVT. Been wearing my TED stockings on a night for bed, because I've been pretty mobile during the day. I left them off a couple of nights (naughty I know) because it has just been too hot to wear them! Do u think this is anything to worry about? I am awaiting blood results too as my gp thinks I may have low iron.

Are you taking anything to thin the blood like fish oil, aspirin, ibuprofen, medications that will thin the blood? I bruise when I take these and especially if I take them often or a lot.

I would check with my doctor and see what he suggests.

The only thing im on is fluoxetine, evening primrose (which I have taken for years) and sea kelp! Bit worried but will see if my bloods show anything up. Thankyou for your reply Suzy xx
