Hi Alwyen, Hope you find encouragement, comfort and some laughs on this site. It really helped me (abdominal myomectomy post op 4 months). Praying that all will be well with you.

Re: Anyone from uk

Hi ladies
I am from central Scotland and had my TAH/BSO at end of Feb. Have struggled post-op with complications and cancer diagnosis (all clear for moment) and now am battling with hormone balance. This journey has been much more physically and emotionally challenging than I had ever imagined.

Admin note: any support replies can be posted to (((Bankie))) on her thread in the hormone support forums: http://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/sho...d.php?t=489479

Re: Anyone from uk

I had mine at the City. They thought mine was cancer but thankfully not. Still not out of the woods tho as they found a fibroid that can grow and travel to the heart. I hope your cancer was contained. How has it been for you in terms of recovery?

Re: Anyone from uk

Mine was at City, under <>. She was lovely. Everything was kept contained in my womb, so no further treatment needed.

recovery has been ok. I have more good days than bad now, but menopause is hard to deal with sometimes. I'm getting there.

Do you have to go back in for another op? How is your recovery going?

Tx

Re: Anyone from uk

Hi T
Won't know regarding another op until I see <> next week. I was on Loxley ward. Everyone has been lovely. I had everything removed 6 weeks ago. The sweats etc are a nightmare. Still sore and getting the burning pains in my side but that will get better.
