Re: Orgasms weaker and difficult to achieve

Thank you Pudley and butnspher1. I really appreciate your comments. In a very new and incredible relationship and it has turned the libido on. having autoimmune diseases like Lupus and Sjogrens Syndrome caused things to be very dry for me but even that has not been a problem with his kind love. However, I feel very weird now as woman...almost getting there...but not quite making it...not to mention there are gifts I would love to give him that I can't...do you think the frustration is blocking me sexually???

Re: Orgasms weaker and difficult to achieve

I know exactly how you feel. It has been two years since my surgery and my husband and I have not had sex once. I feel absolutely no sexual arousal and no longer feel like a woman. I had a complete hysterectomy and am only left with my cervix. I am not on any HRT. Is this the end of an intimate relationship? I feel so lost and my husband and I have becomes o distant.

Re: Orgasms weaker and difficult to achieve

I give credit to my doc/ surgeon. When I asked if I would be able to orgasm, post-op, he replied, "Yes but they will feel different."
Anyway, my suggestion is to try yoga. Not only do you release tension in your neck back and hips. The deep breathing increases bloodflow to that special area. You dont have to go cirque du soleil with it. Just some DVDs (or OnDemand), gentle stretching and deep breathing.
I had complications with my surgery, so I was flat on my back for five hours. When I came out of surgery, my back spasms and bursitis were so severe, I was on a cane for several weeks afterwards. I resumed my yoga practice to help with my back, and low and behold, the orgasms came back too!
Just a suggestion. Its just so crazy, it might work.

Re: Orgasms weaker and difficult to achieve

It has been a little over 4 years since my hysterectomy, and I have found orgasms much weaker than prior to the surgery. I have seriously tried so many things, including expensive therapy at Clear Passage Therapies. It did help some, but I found I needed more than that. I have tried many of the over the counter supplements and both progesterone and testosterone creams. I will say that I have found something that seems to help some called Xtreme Testrone, and thus far I have had better result with this than anything else so far really, along with taking Maca 3 times a day. Worth a try ladies. I don't think orgasms will ever return to the intensity they once were, but this has been a significant improvement, and I won't stop trying...

Re: Orgasms weaker and difficult to achieve

(((Ladies))), I just want to remind everyone that the doctor should be consulted before using any supplements suggested on this site or elsewhere. It's important to be sure what you want to try is safe for you, as determined by your doctor. Even over-the-counter supplements can have negative side effects and can be contraindicated for many reasons. Always check with your doctor to be on the safe side.

Re: Orgasms weaker and difficult to achieve

I just give up full stop! Having a hysterectomy was the biggest mistake of my life. No desire, no feelings, no happiness... Arguments all the time. I'm going to be in limbo until I die..... I want me back!

Re: Orgasms weaker and difficult to achieve

I'm so glad I joined this forum where there are others having the same problems with weak orgasms, low libido .
I am post op 4 years but I'm lucky to have an understanding partner. Hang In there it does get better but it's your mental health also that contributes to this . I find when I'm feeling low it's a lot harder to find drive.
Unfortunately you have to work at it.
