Intro - Recovering from Partial Hysterectomy

Hi,

I am 49 and had a partial hysterectomy via laparoscopy on July 17th.

My procedure was great and I am enjoying a smooth, steady recovery.

At 2.5 weeks post-op I am feeling great emotionally and noticing a reduction in soreness every day. My current challenge is pacing myself in terms of my activties.

My one remaining question is: Does the closing of the cervix seal the resulting cavity in the absence of the uterus?
