Re: Does your pet snore? or make other wierd noises?

I have 2 cats, Cairo doesn't meow much, but purrs as loud as a lawn mower! Asia is more vocal, you stroke her & she chirps, she jumps up or down, she chirps. Then she does this funny meow thing just after she's eaten & licks her lips! Weirdest thing I've ever heard. lol They both snore when they're having 'milk' dreams & love to sleep on their backs, legs akimbo.

Love my lil babies.

My sweet Bella (pitbull/boxer mix) snorts alot. She sounds like a piglet. My Grizz (springer spaniel) is a "talker". He howls alot almost as if he is trying to tell you something. They both snore, bark, whimper, and "run" in their sleep. I always wonder what they could be dreaming about.

Our beagle Beany snores so loudly we often nudge him to wake him up so we can continue to hear the tv. He is a snorter too . ! The problem is you will wake him up and he falls straight back to sleep he looks so comfy sleeping , he can fall asleep so very quickly.

Oh and our other Beagle Millie makes what I call a Millie purr , she sounds like she is purring with contentment when you pat her. Never heard a dog sound like a cat purring but I swear our Millie sounds like it.

My border collie pup makes these weird whining type noises, I guess when she has a dream. It's so cute, sometimes her little paw goes too!

I guess good entertainment for those non-sleeping nights!

Yes, out of both ends! My Pixie (St. Bernard) snores like a freight train, farts like it's her job, and when you rub her chest she makes this weird inhaling sound that we assume is her way of saying "oh yeah that feels nice".

My Boxer snores pretty loudly for a dog, but that's typical for the breed. He also dream barks and his legs sometimes jerk around. He hardly ever barks during the day, so it's a riot to hear him bark in his sleep.
