How cool to have someone from almost the same town!! I say almost because I had my surgery in Thunder Bay but live a couple hundred miles away ...since you are from T.Bay you know how big and remote the surrounding area is. I wonder if we had the same Dr.? ...I don't think we are able to mention Dr. names on here ...I see your surgery was fairly recent. I hope your recovery is going well.

Hi, I am from Windsor, Ontario. I had TAH on July 4/12, kept my ovaries and part of my cervix. One week post op now. Pain is ok, but no appetite, not sleeping well and today started with crying spells I know things will get better, just wish it was sooner than later!

I am from Ottawa . I am 3 weeks post op LAVH.

I'm from the Windsor, Ontario area. Had my surgery July 11, feeling awesome right now!! I do feel a bit guilty because I feel so well, I've read some stories of those who are not recovering so well.

I had a hysterectomy 13yrs ago, they took everything but one ovary so that's what I had removed along with my tube. I had a tumor in my tube so that's why they had to remove it. I'm on the Estradot patch. Yup, I'm a little *****y right now, guess my body has to get used to the patch?? LOL!!

Hi! I'm from Aurora. Had the Monarch Sling placed in Jan 2010, an abdominal hysterectomy March 2012 and another surgery at the end of Nov 2012 due to pain from the March surgery. Still having lower abdo pain. Increases on urination, after a bowel movement and just randomly on movement. Still looking for answers....
