Yes and it lasts for maybe a couple days before I'm not too tender to touch. I also feel sore around incisive on sites for those couple days after just take it easy!

Sisters! I am so glad to see you are still here posting and conversing with each other. Even though you've graduated beyond your eight weeks you still have a long way to go. Your year will come up very soon. You are all and Stars in my heart of hearts.

I have run into a major dilema and have found a new gyno that will hopefully help.
My surgeon left my cervix and ovaries even though I requested the cervix be removed.
I started bleeding 5 weeks ago. At first it was a couple of times per week and it is now bright red almost every other day and pain so bad it feels like I just had surgery. My hyst date was 5/4.
New gyno examined me last Thursday and noticed that part of my uterus was left attached to the upper part of my cervix which is what is causing the bleeding and unsure why I am having so much pain.
I uad alot of blood drawn and have a follow up appt. this Thursday. He said I may have to have a second surgery to remove the cervix and what was left of my uterus.
Needless to say, I am not happy but want nothing more than the pain and bleeding to stop.

Good luck! I myself am having issues with my left ovary. This month we have a hemorragic cyst that has burst and is bleeding into my pelvis. Also has three other cysts. Thinking it might be time to let this one go-can't continue to live in this pain. Thankfully nothing as serious as you are facing-and I love my doc, so I know he'll take great care of me.
Hang in there!

Turned 29 yesterday and couldn't be happier! I completed my MPH on 8/24 and didn't have to work this holiday weekend. Just a Lil sore after some fun with the hubby last night but I'm do happy to have a great family

Hope everyone else is doing well for our 4 month marks!

Hello everyone! Good to see a notify of a comment. I have wondered how you all were. . Well for me, the surgery issues are faint now I still get a little tender in my sides and incisions but life is pretty much back to normal. However I was left with some nerve damage and scar adhesions but finally I can deal with them better. I started having body and joint aches and sleeping horribly and some night sweats. Got out on HRT and think it is finally kicking in. Still not 100% and some days wonder if I ever will be. Energy is a huge issue for me right now. I have as many good as bad days now but still too many bad ones to suit me. Hopefully that 6 month mark will prove true for me. Keep me posted on how you are. I miss everyone.

Hey girls!
I'm healing well but I have gained 18 lbs since surgery, and working on loosing it. I still feel twinges every now and then where the incision scar is but other than that, I think I'm healing nicely. Hope you girls are healing nicely as well!
