Re: Osteoarthritis

I have psoriatic arthritis and fibromyagia. About a week after my surgery I had a major flare up of both. Arthritis is still flared up at 3wks po. Because of stomach/gallbladder issues I have been suffering from since 2days po, I am unable to take my ra meds or steroids. I feel like such a whiner, because I am constantly complaining with n/v, diarrhea, and stomach pain or with my joints causing pain! I am so frustrated and begining to regret having surgery. I think at this point I had rather deal with the constant bleeding and pain from periods than all of the stomach and arthitis pain! I am so frustrated at this point, I just want to hide in a corner and cry!

Re: Osteoarthritis

I'm starting to feel the same way! I'm diagnosed with fibromyalgia too but I doubt it often bc I also have degenerative disk disease and think with osteoarthritis and degenerative disk disease, of course I'm in pain all the time!!

But that said, this is different. Maybe it's because I can't take my aleve as I'm still bleeding a little but WOW. I expected things to flare right after like you but weird thing is, I was fine until a week and half ago. Not regretting having surgery exactly but wishing my surgeon would get on board with dealing with this.

So sorry you're struggling too!

Re: Osteoarthritis

I have lumbar facet joint arthritis, and I did have more pain the first few months after my hysterectomy. I thought it could possibly be because the surgery weakened my abdominal muscles and my back was picking up the slack, so to say.

Re: Osteoarthritis

That could be for some of the pain but my hips are crazy! When I sleep on my side I wake up with my sides screaming!
