You should call your dr. today and not wait until your appointment Thursday to get that infection checked out. I went out yesterday and "carefully" pulled a few weeds. Using arms only and not my back/stomach muscles. I had the dreaded "swelly-belly" last night. wasn't even sure what that was until it actually happened.

They told me in the hospital not to be surprised if the hands hurt near the iv site...even after weeks....

What day is this??? Hahahaha... okay 8th makes this what... 12th day post-op from a dvh (total hyster + endo repair to remaing ovary)... HAD to go to the grocery store, best friend came to my call for me , and weeee after pushing the cart... it was not pleasant. Got back home, BF helped put the small amount of NEEDED grocery restock away for me. The kitchen a mess... hubby makes it but not the best cleaner upper in the world. So set forth to do dishes (by hand ~ no auto dishwasher), clean stove top and table. Now I feel like a fried turd on a stick again, with increased lower pelvic pain... and passing discharge which I have not done since I left the hospital. TO MUCH I SUPPOSE... so rest of the day... mellow out and not do nothing more... man I am BORED to DEATH!!!!

only1way - You should call your doctor right away about the infection. Don't wait until Thursday. A little infection can turn into a really big infection in 4 days.

An I the only one on our thread that is not able to pee 11 days out ? I have meet a few that had theirs done erlier than us , but no one on here has mentioned it . I am so jealous of all of you who can get out and about ! I have to stay close to the potty ! Glad y'all are healing well tho .

I am peeing ALL the time!! Did they take out half my bladder too? I swear every time I drink a half glass of anything, I am in the bathroom. The weird feeling that everything is going to fall out has lessened which is really nice.

Enjoy the fact that you CAN pee... I will never take that for granted again !! Try having to pee all the time but can't get it out :-/

I did call the doctor today considering my appointment is not for another 10 days. (A week from Thursday) anyways she gave me cleaning instructions and called me in an antibiotic since I'm 3.5 hours away. I came to stay w my family basically so they could baby-sit me while my hubby works 2 jobs and plays Mr mom to our 3 older kiddos back home. I'm really shocked to hear about the insomnia we are all dealing with and glad I'm not on my own! I can't go to bed before 3 am. The other night I didn't sleep at all. Up all night until I finally crashed at 10 am.

I am doing exceptionally well I think and thankful for that. Walked with the kids and dog. Daughter had the leash and Son had bag duty. Made lunch, did a light craft and now resting. Made it to bedtime yesterday without pain meds. Only made it till 2pm today. If tiredness and evil EVIL steri-strips are my main complaints this early I will count my blessings. I will also pray for all of us.

I haven't had any problems. I hope you start tinkling soon I am sure it's frustrating.
