That's it - it's gotta come out!

Bah...I'm just about finished my first three-month course of Lupron.

To be fair, it worked wonderfully for about 6 weeks...no pain, bearable hot flashes, lovely time. Then, I had a painful, clotting period that lasted 14 days. And, persistant pain *again*. The pain hasn't left. I'm taking Aleve for it, and it just about takes it from excrutiating down to awful-but-tolerable-and-at-least-I-can-drive.

I've had enough. I've suffered from painful periods since I was 9 years old. I've been on the Pill, I've had endo surgically zapped, I've tried hormone therapy. My quality of life currently ***** - I was fired mid-April for taking too much time off sick, and this is a perfect opportunity for me to take some time for ME, and heal.

It's gotta come out.

Now, I'm scared and nervous! I still have to schedule the appt with my obgyn. He's calling me today. I'm probably correct in thinking he wants to see me and hubby first (and so he should!), so with any luck I'll have a date soon.
