well this is my last day with my uterus!

March 11 at 9:45 am on will be entering the land of hyster-ia...
I will be under ...in lala land...I just pray all goes well. Today is my last day at work ... training the new worker who is replacing me for my duration of leave.

I get to see my family dr. today he just wants to know that I am doing ok...he senses my stress too.

anyways I dont' know what I would of done with out this place it is such a huge godsend I am going to tell my dr about this site today.

I am sad that I am losing the little haven where all my babies grew...to me it is a amazing little thing (the uterus.) There is just something about having that capability and then there is the flip[ side too,,,,no more monthly or pain ect...

I understand your emotions....It's all kind of bittersweet in a way, isn't it?

I worked up till the day before surgery as well..I think it's a good thing to do...It gave me somewhere to direct my energy ~

Good luck on your castle visit. I am so grateful that I was able to carry babies in my body also, but my female organ was overactive and needed to go. I'm not missing it a bit now 8 weeks post. Truth tell; I feel more like a woman now than I ever did before. Sexual and happy; no longer bleeding and hurting. It's a good thing

Good luck tomorrow. I'm going in for my surgery tomorrow morning too. I don't have any children, but I can understand how you would feel more attached knowing that was where your children grew for nine months. Maybe it will help if you think that you will no longer have a uterus, but you will always have what was produced in it. And I'm sure they are much more valuable!
