I have a friend in physical therapy. She told me that so much of a patient's ability to recover (from whatever) depends upon that patient's willingness to participate in their own recovery. I've made a decision to step up to the bar and say, "Bring it on. F--- all you effen cancer cells and get the hell out of ME!"

Hi Maureenie, I'm new here also, and currently waiting for surgery. We've joined a wonderful group of supportive women and face the same chemo issues. I was diagnosed with gradeI Stage IC ovarian(so far, and staging to be done with TAH). What a turn things take so quickly. (Mine found in what thought to be a benign cyst). Looking forward to hearing more from you. I hope your recovery is going smoothly.
