Question about Cancer Awareness Ribbons!!!!!
Shew, I'm glad I'm not the only one confused about this!
I did more research on this today. The hospital that I'm going to has a "Cancer Education Center" Where they have all kinds of books, information, models that show what cancer looks like--even internet access that has alot of cancer websites bookmarked.
They also have a gift shop.
I asked the lady that was working--she said lavendar.
Well, I guess it just doesn't matter!!!!! BUT-I did buy a lavendar robe and slippers to wear in the hospital

Question about Cancer Awareness Ribbons!!!!!
Hi ya'll
I have cervical cancer too. I found the color was teal. Lavander is for GYN cancers in general. I wear a teal pin most everyday now to spread awareness. The color is confusing. One friend told me I should onlly wear grey for Diabetes. She sorta ignores that I have (or had?) cancer. It may be gone it may not. But cancer is now a part of our lives.
By the way , January is National Cervical Cancer Awareness month

Question about Cancer Awareness Ribbons!!!!!
I am still not sure about this whole thing. Not that the color actually matters anyhow but, as I posted before, my oncologist, did give me the teal ribbon and said that it was for ovarian cancer.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
