Support Breast Cancer Research with Postage Stamps

Hi ladies -- I read in the newspaper yesterday about stamps you can buy from your Post Office to help support Breast Cancer Research. The stamps cost 40cents each instead of 33cents, and the 7cents extra per stamp goes directly to Breast Cancer Research. We all use postage stamps, so this is a way we can all help. The next time you have to mail a letter or a bill, tell the clerk at the Post Office that you wish to purchase the Breast Cancer stamps. Seven cents doesn't sound like much but if we all do this for the next couple of months it is sure to help. Together, we CAN make a difference.

Support Breast Cancer Research with Postage Stamps

Dear Catherine,

I just want to let you know that I think it's wonderful that you are promoting the postage stamps to help support Breast Cancer Research. Hats off to you!

I don't have breast cancer, but my neighbor had it and it has now spread to her lungs, liver and bones. She is 46.

In addition to my neighbor, I am 29 years old and was diagnosed with invasive cervical cancer last December and had to have a TAH on 2/17/00.

Us cancer survivors have to stick together and support cancer research.

Just know that your post will make a difference. I have to buy stamps tomorrow, and instead of buying the pretty victorian floral ones I usually get, I will be getting the Breast Cancer Research postage stamps.

I will also be leaving the post office with something priceless. Knowing that I am helping others. Thank You!
