chills, anybody?

I think I have a broken barometer! No fever, but every once in a while, I get cold. Less often, I get a little hot. It feels like my body is having trouble regulating my temperature sometimes. I had a supra TAH and kept ovaries - maybe ovaries are not producing much estrogen? doesn't feel like hot flashes, as I said, more often I'm cold than hot. I told gyn - she didn't really know. In past I have gotten chills with low-grade infections due to bladder and I had bladder pain last week (it's gone now?!)

Not really serious, just strange. Hope it will disappear with other symptoms which have bitten the dust.

This whole thing is certainly one big adventure!!!

chills, anybody?

Oh yeah all the time. Chills are just the other side of a hot flash for me. If I warm up it usually ends up in a hot flash.

I'm trying herbal stuff and it seems to be helping a little. Have you read at the hormone jungle website ?

Pain Meds...

I have also been having trouble with getting chilled easily. I am 2 weeks post op TAH w/ ovarian drilling (I had underdeveloped Ovaries, so My Dr. tried drilling to kick start them). I was told alot of the sudden chilliness was due to my pain meds (Percoset) and that my body i just in a weakened state because of the surgery.

I have my 2 week post op to get my staples out 11/29 and I am going to ask the Dr. if this could also be releted to my sad little ovaries. I have also in the past week sprouted about 7 chin hairs (YUCK!!! never had that before), so *something* screwy is going on hormonily.
