Questions to ask at second opinion appt.

Hi ladies,

I've made a second opinion appt. and I was wondering what would be some good questions for her. I have adenomyosis and endo and fibroids.

This really isn't a preop appt...I'm trying to determine if hyst. is the right decision for me.

I got 2 opinions myself and I am still very glad I did!!! I had my hyst with my 2nd Dr.

My 1st opinion wanted to do an abdominal hyst and my 2nd opinion suggested a less invasive hyst.

Also, you might ask what the pros and cons are of just doing ~observation~ for awhile vs. having a hyst right now. Could your fibroids continue to grow?? And what about the endo and adeno??

Also, you might ask about any ~alternative~ treatments to a hyst. Would you be a godd candidate??

Also, you might request copies of your records from your 1st Dr., if you have not already, so your 2nd Dr. has all your current information.
