Milk of Magnesia

I called my doc this morning about my gassy stomach and still waiting for the first BM. I am already taking a stool softener, and Activia. She prescribed Milk of Magnesia twice a day. 2 hours after my first dose of M of M I had success. Not painful either. I feel like celebrating!

It is amazing how good this type of "success" can make you feel. I am faithful to my daily softners and Activia. Congratulations and I wish you continued "success"!!!!

Funny, Milk of Magnesia gave me serious diarrhea and cramps! NOT fun!

I do find that I have an increase in my gas situation. Will hit the Gas-X again. I hate taking all these meds.

I had to call my Dr. today for the same reason. She said the same thing. I didnt even have to push. lol HOpe it helped you to feel better, as it did for me.

JJKat, yes diahrrea did poke its silly head. So, no more M of M or stool softeners for that matter. Gotta say though, I feel better with it out than all the rumbling and no movement. So I will ride the tide today! Guess I just needed to shake things up!
