Will it Still "All Go in" - sorry but I need to know
Hola Girls - Please advise me :confuse:
Well time is running out for me now as DP is starting to drop a few hints about "doing it". I shall be 10 weeks post op tomorrow - full abdominal hyst 6" verticle scar - everything now gone. I need the answers to 2 questions, and please please please don't laugh.
1. Before my hyst DP and I had a very good sex life and a lot of the time with good deep penetration. Well, I need to know is that as I'm only small - 5ft tall and 7 stone (size 8), will I still have enough room in my vagina for it "all to go in" (sorry to be so graphic). I have visions of "the cuff" stopping his penis from going all the way in and a few inches that can't fit in and being left outside. Please tell me this will not happen? I'm getting stressed out now time is getting soooooo very near.
2. As I have nothing left (no ovaries), I have brought some lubrication for the "opening" (sorry about that !!!), but I need to know will I always have to use this? Before my hyst I never needed lubricating. In other words have I anything left that would naturally lubricate myself if we did a lot of foreplay or will I always have to use the jelly?
I do look forward to your replies. Surely I can't be the only one with these 2 worries can I?
lol and hugs Carol xxx

Well as a recently inducted member of sex after hysterectomy, I can say that I did not find any problem with "depth." I too shared your fears, but for naught. : )
As for the lubrication, I too had my ovaries removed. Prior to my surgery, I was in the throws of early "clinical menopause." I did need lubrication and after surgery as I'm still healing, definitely need it.
It isn't hard to work the lubrication into your "action." Your DP may need some education that less "natural" lubrication doesn't mean less excitement on your part. Believe me, there is still lots of that!

My guy's did
Hi - It's a valid question and one I had also. I had a radical hysterectomy so my vagina was also shortened. I had radiation for the cancer that necessitated the hysterectomy. We had to wait for six weeks after radiation to "do it," and I was quite nervous about the whole thing.
Well, it did fit but I suspect it was a bit scrunched in there because it felt like that. We couldn't complete the act because I was in so much pain, but the pain could be a result of the radiation and not the surgery.
Now, nine months after the surgery and six months after the radiation, things are getting better. More natural lubrication and less pain. I've found that all of the "surprises" I was left with after surgery and radiation are getting better...except for the hotflashes :burning: and lymphedema, which I'll always have, I guess.
After doing my share of reading, it seems like there's no one answer for everyone. We all react differently. I hope you are one of those who has no sexual difficulties at all!
Good luck

We have not noticed no difference with depth. As for lub... I was needing that before to help get things going. We still use it, it does make me feel beter (especially mentally) to use a fair amount. You can easily make it part of foreplay. Have fun with it.
