This may be a stupid question but I have to ask...

I have been told by several people that after a hyster when you ovulate the pain is almost unbearable. Is this true? I am due for a TLH 3/16/04 and am just trying to get all or most of my questions answered before I have the surgery so I know kind of what to expect.

Rene it depends on what your condition is . Im guessing that for some maybe because they had endo or something .. it could also be that their ovaries are affected . I used to get this odd pain about where my apendix should be when I had AF .I now realise that it may have been my ovaries . Pain travels whenit gets bad .

I dont kow if in your case you wilget hit by post hysterectomy ovulation pains .. it remains ot be seen .Perhaps you ight want to ask for pain meds so that when it hits you wil know what to expect and do .

Thanks...I have severe endo. The doctor is hoping he can save atleast one of my ovaries but he told me not to get my hopes up. Like I said I am just trying to get things in order so I'll know a little of what to expect after the fact. Thanks again.
