I think I did something stupid, LOL

Since I have already taken the ducolax and it is acting..............I think what I ate and drank this morning might not have been the best thing. I ate red jello and drank red kool-aid. Could that explain why my BM was reddish orange? I know that this is gross, but I want to know. Im already scared to death about tomorrow, I dont need another thing to worry about! Thanks!

More than likely, it's from the red jello and kool-aid, but since none of us are doctors, I think it would be a good idea for you to call your doctor and let him decide if it's anything to be concerned about. Please let us know what he says.

My preop sheet said to ask about eating anything red, I didn't ask, but I didn't eat red anything (ie, jello, or clear liquid). Maybe it's for this reason? If you have a question, you can call the emergency room at your hospital, and ask a nurse. I did the day before my surgery (about taking a med the day before) and they were very kind and answered my question.
