Re: 3 Months Post Op...

I think sometimes my pain gets blamed on the fact that I have fibromyalgia, but I can tell you the back pain I feel is not fibro pain (it feels different that's how I know). I have wondered if it has anything to do with my bladder lift, but it's never been on the right side. I have way over done it the last three days and my swelly belly rared its ugly head last night. I hope I feel better tomorrow or it's going to be tough at work.

When I went to see the GI about my pain, he said it took 6 months for scar adhesion to form. Hmmm.

Re: 3 Months Post Op...

Ok, I've been on the Provera for about a week now. My mystery lump down there has gone away and a new one in a new location has popped up, but this one looks suspiciously like a stitch trying to come out the wrong way...after three months? Still have discharge so calling doc tomorrow for meds. Aching all the way around midsection. No energy today. Twinges from what I suspect is the endo on my bladder/ureters. Must be subsiding...and fighting on the way out. Feeling a little low today mood wise..OMG!!! and the toxic dog farts blowing this way just soooo don't help!

I might have to see a urologist cuz I still can't do kiegels (sp?). That muscle just doesn't want to work. Doc says to give it 6 months before going to speacialist but then I started to feel pain but only when my bladder was empty. But for the most part I have never been happier! No periods and feeling great!
I had that feeling too when I emptied my bladder. It can be from bladder spasms, but mostly due to nerves being injured during surgery. Honestly...time does heal all as I can say that each day I do feel better. So many symptoms have subsided but oddly enough out of the clear blue...excruciating lower abdominal pain woke me up from sleep. It was like I was literally in labor or having muscle spasms. It was really strange. Made it to see daylight and feel better. Anyone else had that?

I know my colon is clean, cause that was checked before we figured out my ovary was holding a cyst in it. I wore my ab binder to work and the extra heat seemed to help. Still get twinges from the endo on my bladder/ureters. I think switching to the Provera is making me better, it's just taking time to undo what the estrogen did. I'll give it a month. If the ovarian pain hasn't completely subsided...I'm going to the bio-identical progesterone cream. At this point, I'm still 40 pounds overweight and not losing any and just not worried about it any more. I've got to get my body balanced again before I struggle against the weight...hormones, thyroid, surgery recovery...yeah up hill battle ahead.
Hang in there. Getting hormones balanced is trial and error, but you'll get there.
