Numbness question

I've heard some talk about numbness on the inside of one or both thighs, but the top of my right foot is numb. Has this happened to anyone else? Should I be concerned or give it some time?

Numbness question

Hi I have had a problem with my right foot since the third day of surgery.my big toe is numb and the toe next to it swells up and hurts. My doctor refered me to a neurologist because he thinks its nerve damage.sometimes its really numb and sometimes I have a shooting pain up my foot to my ankle.if you have any pain or sweeling in your foot I would talk to your doc about seeing a neurologist.i had to complain 3 times to my doc for him to take me seriously.

I spoke to my doc about this at my 1 wk post-op appt this am...
My upper right thigh feels like its asleep..
He says that is some what normal due to positioning of your legs during the surgery..He said if it wasnt real bothersome to give it a week or two and see if it lets up...
