I saw my surgeon Friday and I am having a hysterectomy Tuesday, Oct. 22nd. I am so ready for this to be over.
My prayer are for all of us that are having surgery on this day.

Add me to the list! I'm 27 and having a laparoscopic hysterectomy on October 22.

I am super anxious for my surgery. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. One question that I forgot to as my Dr. and hope someone help. I'm having my Laparoscopic Subtotal hysterectomy on Tuesday. I starter my menstrual cycle today. Does this having in bearing on rather or not I will be able to have the surgery? I will call my Dr. Monday but I wanted to find out now.

I am just finishing being on my period and I have surgery tomorrow too. I cannot imagine that it matters or the surgeon would have mentioned it or asked where you are in your cycle. Good luck!

Mine said it did not matter. I am having a TVH. I asked at my preop, because my bleeding lasts so long and is so irregular, that I am more likely to be bleeding than not. Can't really plan a day that I wouldn't be bleeding, because that day may never come.

My surgery is tomorrow morning and I am so scared, I am sick to my stomach with nerves. Please tell me this is normal....

I have had surgeries in the past but never have felt this scared. I hope and pray everything goes good.

Mine is tomorrow and I'm feeling the same way. We will be fine, it's the waiting that's the hard part.
