SAH Less than 20 hours after surgery ...

I'm up and on the Web after surgery less than a day ago. Supracervical abdominal hyst. for four fibroids (believed benign but awaiting microslicing results). Doc left one ovary and the cervix. Pain is there from hipbone to hipbone, but not unbearable due to the localized pain pump and the general pain pump. Controlling the pain has been the hardest part so far, along with thirst; fatigue not so much.
Will be in hospital for two days.
I'm hesitant to write more because these posts are relied upon by ladies awaiting their procedures and I would not want to write anything that would seem scary to a pre-op patient. If you get a second opinion, be sure you are comfortable with the hospital and have faith in your doctor's skills, the stress will be reduced.
I'm 45 years old and anticipate a strong recovery.
